The Early Head Start program at St. Joseph County Intermediate School District (ISD) serves families in St. Joseph County to provide resources, activities, and preschool programs that encourage language development, intellectual growth, social development, and motor skills in children ages birth to five. They support parents and caregivers in raising children who are healthy, safe, and ready to succeed in school by the time they reach age five.
Challenge:
St. Joseph County ISD Head Start approached Slick Raven because they had been facing consistently low enrollment numbers and difficulty acquiring enrollment leads. Also, they struggled to maintain consistency in their content messaging to build trust with SJC ISD’s followers and educate them on the value of the SJC ISD’s programs. St. Joseph County ISD Head Start sought Slick Raven’s expertise and knowledge for a thoughtful approach to remedying these issues and a way forward for continuing to build and grow their programs.
Approach:
Slick Raven Marketing took over in January of 2022 and put our social media content posting strategy to work, personalized our approach to sharing content with the community, and implemented targeted paid ads to increase reach and generate leads.
OUR Process
Slick Raven curated posts with authentic voice and content that was valuable to the SJC ISD’s customer base. We personalized our sharing strategy, reaching potential community members through local parenting groups and making personal recommendations (which hit differently) instead of just pushing ads.
This resulted in an organic reach increase of 5.7x on Facebook and 1.7x the reach on Instagram. Their organic Facebook page reach was up 472%, including an increase in page followers by 94%! In total, paid and organic reach, we brought the client 21.6x the reach on Facebook alone!
Our targeted paid ad strategy generated 52 leads, which brought in 9 applications and resulted in 2 new enrollment placements! In one year’s time, Slick Raven more than paid for itself in the trackable, quantifiable results that we were able to provide for the St. Joseph County ISD Head Start.
